Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s),

I hope this message finds you well! My name is Josanne Edgar, and I am the Parent Coordinator at P.S.251. I am reaching out to introduce myself and let you know that I am here as a resource for you and your child.

My role is to help create a strong, positive partnership between parents and the school staff. Whether you need information, resources, or support with navigating school-related matters, I am here to assist in any way I can. My goal is to ensure that your child has the best possible experience and that you feel heard and supported throughout their educational journey.

If you have any concerns or if there's anything you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am here to listen, advocate on your behalf, and work with you to address any needs or questions that may arise. Whether it’s helping you connect with the right school staff or providing additional resources, I am committed to working with you as a team to ensure your child’s success.

    To apply for an afterschool program for your child at P.S. 251, After School Link ‘Afterschool Programs,’ search for P.S. 251, then add your chosen program to your list. Fill in the application with your child’s information and submit. If you need help or the link isn’t working, you can contact 311, call DYCD Youth Connect at 1‑800‑246‑4646 or speak with your parent coordinator.

  • NYCPS New Law

    Dear P.S. 251 Families,

    We want to inform you about a new law that has recently taken effect regarding student use of electronic devices in schools. As part of this change, students will no longer be permitted to bring or use personal electronics during school hours.

    This law is designed to support a more focused and distraction-free learning environment for all students.
